Denodo Platform provides a technological solution for efficient data management from various sources and formats without the need to replicate them in real time. Through a virtual data layer, which the platform allows to create by connecting data sources, users have access to data as if it came from a homogeneous source. The resulting data from this layer can be used not only in BI tools, but also in applications that communicate via Denodo API.

Accessibility

Denodo Platform meets the needs of all users – from experienced users familiar with SQL to those who prefer to access data through a user-friendly graphical interface of the drag-and-drop type. For business users or higher management, it is possible to present data through a data catalog, which allows for easy and intuitive creation of desired outputs.

Accessibility

With the Denodo Design Studio, you have access to data from anywhere, all you need is an internet connection and a web browser. The platform ensures the highest level of data security while respecting user rights and restrictions to minimize the possibility of misuse.

Access control

Denodo Platform supports efficient access control through its own LDAP. Thanks to pre-defined roles and groups or the ability to customize these parameters, users can easily manage permissions. Integration with external LDAP tools, such as Microsoft Active Directory, is a given.

Content control

The platform allows setting access restrictions at the row and column level. Data can also be masked – for example, display only the first and last letter or number. For an even higher level of control, the function Tags can be used, which moves data security to the next level.

Traceability

Denodo Platform provides a complete overview of the origin of data, their transformations and usage throughout the entire lifecycle. Using Data Governance functions, you can easily find out if a specific attribute has undergone a transformation, in which view it is available, or how often it has been run. Additionally, it can be determined whether the data was accessible to an external tool via API.

Commercial sector

Integrating Denodo Platform as a unitary layer covering different data sources of the company eliminated the need for data replication to a single final data source and, consequently, the majority of costs (financial, human, time, knowledge, etc.). In addition, it added a business-oriented Data Catalog with end-to-end data lineages and data governance.

State administration

Almost every state administration is faced with the challenge of how to effectively solve not only the Open Data issue, but also the publication of dynamic data. That is information, which undergoes changes in short time intervals (even in real time). Denodo Platform, thanks to API integration, brings the publication of these data immediately after their creation, which makes it possible to meet the requirements of the Act No. 106/1999 Sb. and the Open Data Directive.
